Mission Statement
Greetings on behalf of Comunidad Loyola. Through this message, I am reaching out to you to provide a brief overview of the support programs we have for girls, boys, and adolescents in situations of vulnerability, abandonment, and/or poverty. Casa Hogar Loyola is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing care and support to girls, boys, and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 12 who have experienced some form of violence, violations of their human rights, and/or are without parental care. This support includes psychosocial assistance, health check-ups, food provision, housing and clothing, education, and healthy entertainment. We also provide assistance in their process of family reintegration, strategic litigation, and family strengthening through positive parenting. In 2022, we continued our work in 2 authorized Social Assistance Centers, 1 Children's Human Rights Promotion Center, and 1 Family Strengthening Center, positively impacting the lives of over 90 girls, boys, and adolescents. Centro de Desarrollo Indígena Loyola A.C. is an intercultural center dedicated to contributing to the development and strengthening of the autonomy, identity, and education opportunities of indigenous communities living in extreme poverty and marginalization in our municipality. Throughout the year, we offer educational activities for 110 indigenous girls and boys in basic education, as well as promoting healthy nutrition. We also have a program that supports over 180 indigenous migrant child laborers and provides assistance to 150 migrant families who reside in or pass through León, assisting them in their integration into urban life free from violence and discrimination.
