It is a non‐profit institution in Pakistan for building capacity of the institutions/communities according to national and international standard to bring together local and international practitioners, professional and researcher of diverse background to pool their expertise and experience in response to the growing crises which are challenging Pakistan in the 21st Century

About This Cause

Established in 2012, Network for Human and Social Development (NHSD) is a not-for-profit non-government organization registered with Pakistan Center of Philanthropy and Economic Affairs Division Pakistan. It has been an implementation partner for more than 60 national and international organizations, including Global Giving, King Baudouin Foundation and Give2Asia. NHSD has a national outreach having worked in all seven provinces of Pakistan. On 8 May 2023 NHSD was the recipient of "The Corporate Humanitarian and Strategic Achievements" Shield, which was bestowed on the organization by His Excellency the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. On 21 March 2020, NHSD was awarded the certificate of appreciation as a hero in the war against COVID19 by the Punjab Governor in Lahore Governor House. The organization has successfully assisted and emancipated and empowered communities from very rural, far flung and disenfranchised communities most recently in Tharparkar Sindh, where 100 houses, 25 dispensaries, 25 vocational training centers and 25 schools were constructed using local resources and through the engagement of the local communities of Chachro, Tharparkar. Out of these buildings, 30 now have solar power electricity. NHSD firmly roots itself towards the well being of the people of Pakistan.
