Mission Statement
Our mission is humanitarian protection of both domestic and wild animals. We intervene in cases of suspicion of animal abuse. We take care of abandoned, sick or injured animals by taking them to vets and by curing them. Each year we take care of hundreds of hedgehogs and other wild animals.
About This Cause
EKOSTRAŻ is a Lower Silesian non profit organization founded in 2010. As few we rescue wild animals such as hedgehogs, squirrels, foxes, small birds etc. We also help domestic animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits and others. Each day we intervene in cases of animal abuse. Our volunteers take care of both domestic and wild animals. You can find us during many events located mainly in Wrocław. We also try to educate people, especially children, how to help animals by making educational classes. Since 2020 we have been running the Animal Rehabilitation Centre: a place where treatment and rehabilitation of wild animals is carried out.
