Mission Statement

In the Good Factory, we believe in real help. Thanks to you, we have been manufacturing good in those corners of the world where evil has taken away hope, health, joy and life. We do it in 4 dimensions by: feeding, treating, educating and giving jobs. The Good Factory started to operate on the 8th of August 2014 in response to the alarming request of the sisters of angels. The hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo found itself in a dramatic situation. In September, the medications reaching the hospital on a quarterly basis were to get there for the last time. Today, our support goes to almost 70 000 people every year.

About This Cause

Good Factory is dedicated to providing aid for people living in the world's most impoverished regions—those affected by war, humanitarian crises, poverty, and hunger. Our approach to assistance encompasses four key dimensions: providing nourishment, medical support, education and employment opportunities. In our unwavering commitment to making a genuine impact, we firmly believe in helping people, not numbers. We recognize the needs of the local communities, assist and provide tailor-made aid. What drives our commitment to helping residents of these poor regions? We firmly believe that the essence of humanity transcends geographical distance. Whether in Antarctica, Sierra Leone, or Chicago, individuals worldwide share fundamental needs—leading dignified lives, experiencing love, and having access to food and water. Established in 2014, Good Factory extends its aid to nearly 40,000 individuals annually across three continents: Africa, Asia, and Europe. Our efforts span 9 distinct humanitarian and developmental programs. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, we oversee a hospital and a hunger treatment center within a remote jungle village. Our endeavors extend to combating malnutrition in Mauritania. Through partnerships with local organizations and healthcare providers, we implement comprehensive programs focusing on nutrition education and access to balanced meals. In Rwanda, we proudly support the country’s sole hospice, providing compassionate care to those with terminal illnesses. Additionally, we provide vital medications to an underserved region through a free pharmacy in Togo. Our work extends to educating girls from underprivileged families in culinary and sewing skills at a vocational school in Senegal. The goal of the education we provide is to foster girls’ entrepreneurial skills and, ultimately, support them in establishing small businesses of their own. In Burkina Faso, a region gradually transforming into a desert, we created a vegetable garden, enhancing food variety and generating employment opportunities for locals. Thus we actively counteract the migration of individuals who would otherwise be subjected to hazardous journeys and frequently face the risk of becoming homeless in foreign countries. Within Bangladesh, at Cox’s Bazar—the world's largest refugee camp—we provide aid to impoverished families deprived of fundamental human rights and means to find employment. Furthermore, we extend our aid to refugees, mainly women and children, arriving on Greece's Lesbos island, seeking refuge from armed conflict and poverty. Our efforts include distributing over 2,000 weekly meals to refugees and the ill. We have established an ecologically sustainable farm and we engage in the production of high-quality olive oil. Both of these projects facilitate employment opportunities for refugees, affording them the opportunity for a new beginning. Since the outbreak of war in Ukraine, we have been coordinating humanitarian aid shipments and dispatching medical equipment to hospitals in Ukraine. Currently, we are extending our assistance to Ukrainian refugees residing in the most impoverished regions in Poland. Our efforts encompass the distribution of food vouchers, hygiene packages, and the facilitation of vocational courses. Moreover, we organize therapeutic and psychological workshops tailored to children affected by the trauma of war. Our endeavors have ensured the provision of warm jackets and footwear to 2500 children, equipping them for the winter season. We provide life-saving medication to the elderly in Lebanon who have found themselves in dire circumstances due to the ongoing economic crisis. In this challenging period, our efforts aim to alleviate the health challenges faced by these seniors, ensuring their well-being and dignity are upheld. The support we provide is made possible through the generosity of our numerous donors. We aim to minimize barriers to involvement by not demanding excessive contributions. As an organization, we prioritize transparency and effective allocation of funds, which we can demonstrate through our utilization of technology. Our goal is to raise awareness about the substantial positive impact achievable by collaborating with us in doing good work.
