About This Cause

The Big Hand believes that children raised in a healthy environment can change the world. He believes in a world where all children are treated with dignity, in a world that protects its children, guaranteeing them access to nutrition, water, sanitation, health, shelter, information and quality education that will allow them to reach their full potential and in that way ways to contribute to their community and the world. The Big Hand was founded by David Fernandes in July 2010 as a result of the experience gained since 2004, when he started his activity as a volunteer teacher in Mozambique. Upon his return, he joined a group of friends and colleagues from the most varied areas and experiences who share the same desire, to transform the world into a better place. Since then, the group has developed several training programs and support for child development.
