Mission Statement
We aim to provide safe and accessible routes for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts from the forest paths all the way up to the peaks. We believe we can connect the trails in the Carpathian mountains chain and create a uniform system and management of trails.
About This Cause
"ÎN SLUJBA MUNTELUI" is a young organization founded only 2 years ago dedicated to the reconstruction of pedestrian mountain infrastructure. Our activities combine the pleasure of hiking together with the satisfaction of offering better and safer trails for the mountain enthusiasts. Trail marking • Identifying existing paths and creating new trails; • Working with trained volunteers to mark trails with standard signage; • Ensuring that hikers can easily navigate through the forest and reach the mountain peaks; Conservation and sustainability • Ensuring our trail marking activities are carried out with minimal impact on the environment; • Committed to preserving various ecosystem of the mountains; Advocacy and education • Raising awareness about the benefits of well-marked trails and responsible hiking; • Advocate for policies and regulations that encourage the sustainable use of mountainous areas for recreational purposes.
