About This Cause
The Robi Animal Protection Association is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2001, which promotes animal protection and welfare. Robi’s work in Romania extends on multiple fronts: - they currently shelter and care for hundreds of stray cats and dogs. Throughout their activity, thousands of souls have been under their care and were offered the chance for a better life - they work hard to find homes for the animals under their care - they never abandon – if the animals are not adopted, Robi will take care of them throughout their entire life - they are actively supporting spaying and neutering programs in Romania and fight hard to keep the stray dog and cat overpopulation under control The association depends entirely on donations and sponsorship to be able to care for their animals. The members of the association do everything out of passion, on a voluntary basis, not receiving any monetary compensation for their work.
