Mission Statement
Asociatia Inima Copiilor (The Heart of Children Association) is a Romanian NGO. It's main purpose is helping children with severe health problems, especially with heart disease.
About This Cause
Asociatia Inima Copiilor (The Heart of Children Association) exists and has been helping children with serious illnesses, especially cardiac malformations, since 2006. We built and furnished several facilities in public hospitals in Romania: a Cardiac Surgery Unit and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Marie Curie Hospital in Bucharest, we renovated others (cardiology, neuro-surgery), and are constantly giving a helping hand so that they can function at high standards. We help seriously ill children and their families receive life-saving treatments and believe that our activity has an important impact in Romania, a country in with the health system is still so much behind.
