Our mission is to provide the best possible treatment, care and quality of life during and after treatment for the children and young adolescents with cancer, as well as their families. No child should die of cancer!
About This Cause
"ZVONČICA" is Parent organization of children with cancer and other rare diseases was founded in 1992 by parents of children with cancer and physicians from The Mother and Child Health Care Institute of Serbia “Dr Vukan Čupić“ in Belgrade, the biggest Serbian Pediatric Oncology Center, Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Center and Referent National Center for Rare Diseases. We enable the regular presence of volunteers, psychologists, social workers and special pedagogues from Zvončica within the Hemato-oncology Departments and Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit. Also, we are trying to expand our operational capacities in order to guarantee the sustainable maintenance of the Parents' House, thereby ensuring the safety and better quality of life of children and their families.
