Mission Statement
The Association for the Affirmation of Culture (ASK) empowers youth and strengthens local communities across Serbia through creative, impactful, and collaborative initiatives. We advance cultural vitality, education, social development, entrepreneurship, and environmental stewardship. Through well‑designed programs, strategic partnerships, and hands‑on activities, we tailor solutions to local needs — all while fostering innovation and positive social change. At our core, we strive to elevate quality of life and amplify youth voices in shaping a sustainable and engaged society.
About This Cause
Founded in 2015 in Belgrade, ASK began with a humanitarian mission and has since evolved into a dynamic force in civic action, youth leadership, and community innovation. Today, we operate nationally, engaging over 30,000 young people through 100+ initiatives. Our signature programs include: » Lighthouse of Knowledge (Svetionik znanja): A youth activism initiative guiding high school teams through project design, community impact, and leadership development. » Academy of Entrepreneurship: Equipping young entrepreneurs with the skills and networks to launch innovative local ventures. » Green Economy of Serbia: Raising environmental awareness and promoting sustainability in local communities. » ASK Education Center (est. 2018): A hub for continuous learning, professional development, and cross-sector collaboration.
