About This Cause
St Luke’s ElderCare (SLEC) currently operates 24 senior care centres islandwide, an Active Ageing Hub in Bishan and a nursing home in Ang Mo Kio. SLEC provides a range of comprehensive and integrated services such as maintenance and dementia day care, day rehabilitation, home care medical and nursing services, community-based services and residential-based services. The purpose is to actively engage our elders in physical and mental activities to prepare them for successful ageing, maintain the functional levels of those who have suffered physical disabilities as a result of stroke, fall or accidents, and to care for seniors while their loved ones are at work. As a voluntary welfare organization, we receive partial funding from the government, we thus rely on donations to continue to provide services to the elders. Your support is deeply valued and important to us.
