Mission Statement

Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT) is a registered charity organization in Singapore whose mission is to facilitate livelihood opportunities for underprivileged women and support them to achieve financial independence and enable social mobility for their families.

About This Cause

DOT comes in to complement and support existing training and workforce-related agencies by connecting volunteers and community resources to enable these women on an individual level. By deep-diving into practical day-to-day constraints of these women, we offer hand-holding and individual coaching to help each woman reach regular and sustained employment. Through building up the resilience, skills, and employability of the women (95% of whom are mothers), we hope they can in turn transform the lives of their children and families through being role models of independence themselves. Our core Job Readiness Programs seeks to encourage women to develop self agency and confidence-building, provide peer support and skills-based knowledge. These are delivered through our core program, DOT’s Confidence Curriculum (DCC), a Befrienders’ Program, Financial Literacy, Basic IT Literacy & Workplace Digital Literacy. As the women enhances their employability, DOT also provides career counseling and coaching, interview facilitation and employment bridging services to empathetic and supportive employers from various industries. More than 50% of the employer partners in the network adopt inclusive hiring practices to allow lower-income women to integrate back into the workforce.
