Mission Statement
To serve and provide our knowledge on health in general and oral health in particular to people living in areas of the planet with a lack of decent services, as well as to promote training and awareness.
About This Cause
Dentistas Sobre Ruedas (DSR) is a non-profit Foundation made up of dentists, health professionals and volunteers from different sectors, whose main purpose is to organize and coordinate projects that contribute to improving health in general - and oral health in particular - of those people who do not have sufficient resources to access decent health services. In essence, all initiatives of Dentistas Sobre Ruedas are based on the fundamental value of service to others, carried out from humility and solidarity. At this moment, DSR focuses its activity both in Mallorca - through the Coloma Vidal Solidarity Dental Clinic - and in Missirah (Senegal), where it develops the “Adama Project” with the construction of a Dental Academy that includes a small health center to be able to carry out its activity permanently. In addition, and in parallel, the Sonrisas Sobre Ruedas (smiles on wheels) project promotes good oral health habits, through talks and workshops on prevention and awareness-raising in schools and entities or associations, both in Mallorca and in Senegal.
