Mission Statement
The Hof Narr farm sanctuary gives home to about 80 animals rescued from terrible conditions. While caring for these animals takes up some time, the rest of the time we invest in education of ethics and events, so that one day, this planet will be a better place for all living beings. Sustainability, sufficience, animal rights, human rights, justice and responsibility are some of our key concepts in education and workshops as all of these are inter-linked. The project is about the future for our children and about non-violence and peace in general. Animals as part of the moral community have found a place in ethical considerations and therefore in our farm ;-).
About This Cause
The charity allows for the animals to live here and have all they need. Donations go directly towards the animals. Some of the money can, if specifically wished for, go into the education fund and the office work. But the main costs that we need money for is the animal welfare, food, shelter, buildings, vet, material. No money from the charity goes towards paying gages, as we all work on a voluntary basis here.
