Mission Statement
AT PROJECT EVERYONE, WE SEEK TO PUT THE POWER OF GREAT COMMUNICATION BEHIND THE GLOBAL GOALS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (SDGS). OUR MISSION IS TO ACCELERATE PROGRESS TOWARDS A FAIRER, GREENER AND MORE JUST WORLD BY 2030. THE WORLDS LARGEST LESSON IS PROJECT EVERONE'S EDUCATION PROGRAMME. WE PROMOTE USE OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN LEARNING SO THAT CHILDREN CAN CONTRIBUTE TO A BETTER FUTURE FOR ALL.
About This Cause
To make things happen, you have to make things – Richard Curtis, Director, Screenwriter & Co-founder of Project Everyone Project Everyone, a United Nations Global Partner for SDG Advocacy and Outreach, seeks to put the power of communications behind the Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals. We ‘make’ campaign materials, unique installations, ground-breaking documentaries, one of a kind events and as much impact as possible. We are a not-for-profit communications agency made up of a dedicated team of campaigners and communicators, who sit at the heart of a global network of civil society organisations, private sector partners, brands, governments, and UN agencies. The 17 Global Goals are at the core of everything we do – driving awareness and adoption – in order to create a world where extreme poverty is eradicated, climate change is properly addressed, and injustice and inequality are unacceptable. The World’s Largest Lesson is the education programme of Project Everyone. It is committed to introducing children and young people everywhere to the Global Goals, or SDGs. World’s Largest Lesson is delivered in partnership with UNICEF, with the support of UNESCO, along with many other NGOs, private sector organisations and foundations. In 2019 World’s Largest Lesson reached 17 million children in over 130 countries.
