Mission Statement
At Ruach City Church, we have a vision to reach people and make a difference in their lives. We are committed to bringing the love of Christ to everyone we come into contact with. We desire to equip all to become successful Christians and emotionally stable members of society. We are committed to the strengthening and deepening of the spiritual lives of partners, enabling each one to develop to the highest degree of spiritual endowment attainable in this life and also to educate men and women for ministry, fulfilling Christ’s great commission (Read St Matthew 28 v 19 – 20). Ruach City Church is also designed to reach the local community in all areas of their need. Our vision is to be a church made up of different backgrounds and nationalities, united with a desire to worship God and love one another, impacting London, the UK and the world with the presence and power of God. We want to develop Spirit-Filled Growth that will: - Release people into their gifts and calling; - Facilitate the Building of Good Relationships; - Provide Effective Teaching and Preaching; - Encourage Good Stewardship; - Build a Spirit of Excellence; and - Develop Integral and competent Leadership.
About This Cause
Ruach City Church is one of the largest and fastest growing non-denominational Pentecostal Christian churches in Europe. Starting from humble beginnings, with only a handful of faithful members, the church has grown rapidly since its inception in December 1992. Ruach City Church has locations in Brixton (South London), Kilburn (North London), Walthamstow (East London), Birmingham (Midlands) and Philadelphia (USA). We seek to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in our communities and the world. We partner with agencies, e.g. Metropolitan Police, to bring about the change needed in our communities that people can live successful lives. We provide teaching and preaching of the Word in developing people to aspire to reach their purpose and provide relevant courses and educational development programmes. We provide practical help in the community e.g. via our Outreach programmes, for example providing food for those who are in need. We also provide support to assist in the well-being of people, so they can deal with life circumstances. We desire to see the love of Jesus Christ touch the lives of everyone, and for people to fulfill and achieve all they are in Jesus Christ.
