Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide inclusion, engagement and equal access to services for those individuals who are disadvantaged or experiencing homelessness, and to influence the strategic development of the homelessness agenda in local and national arenas.
About This Cause
SIFA Fireside aims to improve health & inclusion for homeless and vulnerably housed adults in Birmingham. Our hub offers holistic support across the whole journey of homelessness from help at point of crisis through to resettlement. We offer hot food, clothing and showers, and encourage engagement with job clubs, creative workshops, and weekly nurse clinics, dentist, chiropodist and eye care. Our centre is also a hub for further support services such as tenancy support, mental health support and addiction services. SIFA Fireside supports some of the city’s most marginalised adults, many of whom have multiple and complex needs. The charity addresses these needs through individual and group support in a trusted environment, providing support in a crisis as well as working with people over time.
