Helen Rollason Cancer Charity enables quality of life to people living with cancer.
About This Cause
Helen Rollason Cancer Charity supports men and women with all types of cancer at all stages – whether newly diagnosed or longer-term, throughout treatment and equally as important when medical treatment is completed. Despite receiving no Government funding there is no charge for our services. All of our locations provide a welcoming and relaxing environment where people living with cancer can go – with their families, friends and carers – to talk through any concerns or just a friendly chat. Our clients can have therapies that work together with their medical treatment and reduce stress. We provide reflexology, aromatherapy massages, Bach flower remedies and manual lymph drainage (MLD) in addition to counselling and support groups. We offer a range of extra, beneficial activities and groups ranging from Pilates, Art and Craft Groups, Look Good Feel Better Workshops, Yoga, Mindfulness and Support Groups. We also support research and clinical drugs trials relating to cancer with an annual grant made to The North Middlesex Hospital. Providing support for cancer patients’ emotional well-being alongside their medical treatment continues to be at the core of the charity’s mission. Helen Rollason Cancer Charity relies on donations, fundraising and money raised through our charity shops to continue operating our Support Centres. We rely on donations to continue the work we do.
