Mission Statement
Girls United aims to create and support community-driven, grassroots programmes that are sustainable and scalable to affect long-term changes. We exist to empower girls, and level the playing field from disparities in gender and socioeconomic capabilities.
About This Cause
Girls United runs a number of clubs and coaching programmes internationally empowering girls in local communities through football practices that go beyond the tactical, to develop confident leaders, providing more girls with the opportunity to succeed, on and off the pitch. We hare equipping girls with transferrable life skills by providing leadership training through football. We are an association of players, coaches, spectators and fans that believe in the power of football to make rooted cultural change in gender stereotypes.
