Mission Statement
To support the residents of Droitwich Spa and the surrounding areas to help reduce social isolation, improve mental health and well-being and connect residents with local services.
About This Cause
Based within the community it supports with three community hubs offering spaces to hire, local information, support and signposting. Running a community transport service led by volunteer drivers which takes residents to vital hospital and GP appointments, clubs, day centres, shopping, socialising enabling them to keep fit and active and be part of their community. We are a volunteering brokerage matching residents looking to volunteer with local charities and groups, offering support and guidance where needed. Working closely with Councils, NHS, schools, housing providers, support organisations we are the link between these and the smaller groups, making sure what is happening locally is fed back into reviews, plans and consultations. We run events for children and families during school holidays, have a community fridge which is open to everyone and offer further support with food, energy and housing problems.
