About This Cause
Wild Impact Foundation was born out of the belief that, through consultation and dialogue, conversation and collaboration with legitimate leadership, rural communities are empowered to enable development on a far more successful and sustainable scale. For 30 years, Wild Impact together with committed communities, a dedicated team and generous donors, has improved the lives and livelihoods of the rural communities who are custodians of some of the worlds most beautiful and precious wild spaces. Our overall vision is a future where the communities we partner with are actively advocating for, and supporting, the restoration and conservation of the wild landscapes and seascapes we’re working in; and derive meaningful socio-economic and entrepreneurial benefit from these areas. WILD IMPACT FOUNDATIONS ROLE. • Facilitating the fulfillment of needs identified by communities • Communicating those needs to potential donors • Allocating and managing donor funds prudently • Working with community leaders and project champions • Accounting and reporting to our donors • Evaluating the short and long-term impacts of our projects
