Mission Statement
For Timebuilders: Using time-credits to create networks of friends who do the work needed to make people and communities stronger. The St Mary's Community Centre, of which Timebuilders is a part, has a more detailed mission statement: Enable people to contribute, to belong and to develop relationships because these things are fundamental to being human and building community. We achieve this with an asset based approach which recognises and reclaims the unnoticed strengths and resources in the community; the things that are wasted. We work with other partners who share our vision, particularly seeking to affirm and support the role of churches as communities of faith and goodwill.
About This Cause
TimeBuilders is a volunteering scheme that supports people to develop themselves and contribute to their community. Everyone has something to give. We use time-credits to value and include everyone. TimeBuilders makes it easy to use your passions, skills, knowledge, and time to make a difference to the lives of others. We have flexible opportunities and roles for everyone, even if you can only spare a few hours.
