About This Cause
Principal objectives To promote any charitable purposes in the community in the advancement of education, the protection of health, the relief of poverty, distress and sickness, primarily for the benefit of the community in the former local government district of Wansbeck and Castle Morpeth and its neighbourhood and in the North East in general: To promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the above policy by bringing together representatives of the voluntary organisations and the statutory authorities in the area of benefit: To administer grant income for various projects. The Charity is committed to achieving results for the public benefit and due regard is always given to the public benefit interest in deciding on work to be undertaken.
