Mission Statement

WAIT UK is a registered charity that educates young people on the subject of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases through the medium of the performing arts. It encourages youth to focus on their talents and dreams rather than making risky choices that lead to ill health and unhappiness. The group performs at schools, youth clubs, places of worship and festivals in the UK and also abroad. WAIT UK has travelled to countries such as Ireland, Uganda, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, South Africa and most recently, Kenya, to work there and set up new WAIT teams or clubs.
