Mission Statement
Our mission is to put the power of computing and digital making into the hands of people all over the world. We do this so that more people are able to harness the power of computing and digital technologies for work, to solve problems that matter to them, and to express themselves creatively.
About This Cause
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a global nonprofit with a mission to help young people learn how to code, create and solve meaningful problems using technology. Now, more than ever, our mission has never been more vital. We believe that every young person, whatever their background and wherever they are in the world deserves the opportunity to learn digital skills and gain confidence to create with digital technologies. Globally, we engage millions of young people in more than 160 countries. Our programs include coding clubs for young people aged 7 - 17, formal training for educators in partnership with the UK government, free educational resources and original research into how young people learn computing.
