Mission Statement
Yes Futures is a multi-award winning education charity, established in 2012 and run by ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted-rated) qualified teachers. We specialise in personal development programmes which empower disadvantaged young people to make ambitious choices and realise their potential through developing their confidence, resilience and life skills, leading to success both in and out of the classroom.
About This Cause
Yes Futures runs unique, high-impact personal development programmes for disadvantaged students aged 8-18. Our 12-month programme includes a series of personalised coaching sessions, raising students’ aspirations and reducing barriers to achievement, with support from a dedicated Yes Futures Coach. Students take ownership over their development and become familiar with the process of setting challenging targets and working towards them, developing their reflective skills. Alongside the coaching sessions, students attend three inspirational trips where they develop their skills in real-world situations and challenge themselves to achieve beyond their expectations. Through providing the most vulnerable students with twelve months of intensive extra-curricular support, we raise their confidence, aspirations and reduce barriers to achievement. This has a knock-on effect to academic performance, as evidenced by the positive feedback we receive from parents, teachers and students.
