About This Cause

HIS': Help Information Support was built to bridge a major gap in mental health services for males and was founded after losing a dear friend who took his life in 2019. The charity works with men and young lads from key stage 2 to adulthood who struggle with their mental and emotional health throughout London and Kent. HIS’ is a unique service; the approach is to work with a "whole" person, addressing all their needs and creating a tailor-made package around the individual. What is even more unique, is the charity does NOT put a time restriction on someones healing. This ensures they have the time they need to go through their therapy, rather then the normal 6-12 weeks that you receive with the NHS or other charities. Each person is assigned a key worker who 'holds' them by giving them a sense of belonging, as well as someone with whom they can build up trust; it's their 'go-to guy'. Some men or young people may need counselling and other therapies. What 'HIS' does, first and foremost, is to provide a nurturing and holistic support service centred around that person's human needs. As an independent we are able to work in the freedom of making our clients not just whole again, but to ensure they thrive.
