Mission Statement
The charity mission of LAPIS is the relief and protection of the health of people affected by disability and/or by other life changing health issues through evidence-based and person-centred counseling and psychotherapy. LAPIS offers this service to people of any age including family members and carers.
About This Cause
Our Accessible Service At LAPIS, we have a fully accessible room, so anyone can benefit from our service. We offer our service on a sliding scale, which means that you pay what you can afford. No one is turned away for lack of ability to pay. You have plenty of time as therapy continues for as long as you feel you need. LAPIS therapists and clinical supervisors specialise in making therapy accessible in our approach and significant experience of working in the disability field. We also especially welcome therapists, trustees and other volunteers with a disability and/or special interest in this field.
