About This Cause
Holme Farm – a multi-facility whole systems approach to Health, Wellbeing, Community & Biodiversity Community Workshops & Gardens @ Holme Farm (CWG@HF) will provide a therapeutic environment in which people within North Surrey can socialise, learn and thrive. Covering over 7 acres, it will be a place for individuals, and the wider community, to find support and get involved in activities and programmes, to improve their mental and physical health. The project will be made up of many different facilities, including a community allotment and orchard, sensory garden, apiary, workshop, and learning centre. Individually these facilities will provide some benefit, but together they will interact holistically to maximise the well-being impact to those who attend. We are using a whole system perspective while developing this project to ensure that we will be able to have real success in health interventions and bringing people together.
