Mission Statement
10,000 Black Interns is dedicated to transforming the horizons and prospects of young black people in the United Kingdom by offering paid work experience across a wide range of industries, as well as world-class training and development.
About This Cause
The premise of #10000BlackInterns is also simple: ask 100 firms, across 20 different sectors, to each offer one internship a year – resulting in 2,000 interns per year. Repeat this for five years and the goal of delivering 10,000 internships to Black students across the UK is reached. Each internship place has the opportunity to change a life. Each interview offered provides invaluable experience and the training session can genuinely change an individual’s trajectory. In addition to working closely with the successful candidates, we continue to offer ongoing training to unsuccessful candidates to help them prepare for future intakes.
