Mission Statement
Compassiviste Foundation’s primary mission is simple: to respond to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and help the displaced to recover and rebuild their lives. We aim to do this through the delivery of emergency and ongoing aid and medical provisions, and through educational sponsorship awards at British universities.
About This Cause
Compassiviste Foundation is an apolitical and non-religious UK-based Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Charity Number 1199317) that serves the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people. We exist entirely through the invaluable efforts of our volunteers and the generous donations of our sponsors and supporters. Compassiviste Foundation believes in a world free of poverty, cruelty, and suffering; a place of peace, hope, love and dignity that is free of division and racial and religious persecution where humankind lives in harmony with the natural environment. Our five core commitments drive our decisions, our actions, and our projects. They can be found in every area of our work. They are: We are committed to providing safe conditions and the foundations for a better life for the displaced, regardless of race, colour and country of origin. We believe strongly that the world’s more than 100 million displaced individuals have a right to and deserve adequate shelter, fresh food, clean water, and political and cultural freedom, regardless of their race, ethnicity or country of origin. We will not turn our backs on the vulnerable and will do everything within our means to help them to recover and rebuild their lives. We are committed to helping climate change refugees establish the bases for a healthy, productive and satisfying future. We believe strongly that the plight of climate change refugees – the world’s forgotten victims – should not be overlooked. These people are from the poorest and most vulnerable communities – those which contribute the least to global warming – and through no fault of their own are the ones hit hardest by this crisis. We are committed to ensuring access to higher education for these groups. We believe strongly that higher education should be available to all, including those displaced by conflict, political unrest, environmental disasters, and global warming. Only by delivering higher educational learning can we elevate the life chances of young, displaced adults to help them avoid poverty and exploitation in later life. We are committed to providing these groups with ongoing aid and support in addition to emergency relief. We recognise that emergency humanitarian aid is important, but that it is not sufficient. We aim to deliver ongoing financial aid, ongoing medical aid, and ongoing educational sponsorships to help the displaced recover and rebuild their lives. We are committed to rapid response. We believe strongly that lives can be saved by responding to emerging humanitarian catastrophes swiftly and effectively. We will always aim to channel funds and medical aid to our frontline partners as quickly as possible.
