Mission Statement
To help fund technological advances which will treat animals suffering from cancer and other potentially life-threatening illnesses and to support pioneering research, fund the purchase of technically-advanced medical equipment and the application of procedures which could also benefit human patients.
About This Cause
The Rumba Animal Cancer Foundation charity was formed in 2025 to support pioneering clinical veterinary care and provide equipment to treat animals with cancer. Through a unique partnership with AURA Veterinary, a world leading centre for excellence in animal oncology and soft tissue surgery based in Surrey UK, the Rumba Animal Cancer Foundation will deliver ground-breaking clinical research and treatment to ensure that more pets survive cancer. In time, the aspiration of the Rumba Foundation is to prevent animals from developing cancer altogether. The Rumba Animal Cancer Foundation is believed to be the only dedicated animal cancer charity in the UK. All donations go directly to support the most advanced treatments to save or prolong the lives of animals. As there are no operational costs, 100% of monies raised are used to fund the purchase of equipment and methodologies of treating animals with cancer. The Rumba Animal Cancer Foundation does not support studies involving animals specifically bred or kept for the purpose of research.
