About This Cause
The University’s founders were committed to the principle of equal opportunities for all students. We want to continue that tradition, ensuring that all of our students have the chance to excel academically, personally and professionally, regardless of financial circumstances. The Kent Opportunity Fund has been established to support a broad range of scholarships, student projects to enhance extra-curricular activities at Kent, and bursaries to support students experiencing financial hardship. Committees of Kent staff, alumni and donors allocate the funds raised and ensure that they go to the students most in need.
