Mission Statement
Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs. We never put a healthy cat to sleep. Cats Protection has simple and clear objectives to help cats: Homing - to find good homes for cats in need, Neutering - to support and encourage the neutering of cats, Education and Information - to improve people’s understanding of cats and their care.
About This Cause
Founded in 1927, Cats Protection has grown to become the UK's leading feline welfare charity. We now help around 200,000 cats and kittens every year through our network of over 200 volunteer-run branches, and 37 adoption centres. We have over 5,000 cats in our care at any time and in 2019 we rehomed 41,000 cats and kittens.
