About This Cause
Wac Arts provide high-quality, affordable performing, creative and digital arts opportunities for children and young people. With a commitment to working with those face barriers to participation. Almost 70% of our beneficiaries come from black, Asian or other minority ethnic backgrounds; 20% identify as disabled, and 32% live in areas of deprivation. Driven by the needs of young people for over 47 years. Wac Arts' Arts Programme enables young people to express their creatively, bolstering their self-belief and unleashing their potential. Wac Arts has trained over 30,000 young people in drama, dance, music, and film, empowering generation after generation of young people with the life skills that only the arts can offer.
