Mission Statement
Pan Intercultural Arts is a London based arts charity empowering vulnerable, hard-to-reach young people to change their lives through the arts. We support unaccompanied asylum seekers, victims of torture, trafficked women and those affected by youth violence. We work to unlock potential, engender positive mindsets and overcome barriers.
About This Cause
Pan changes people’s lives. This is achieved by using theatre, music and other art forms in workshops to help some of the most marginalised and disadvantaged groups find a voice to re-claim their place in society. Pan supports young people who are female victims of trafficking, unaccompanied asylum seekers, refugees, those affected by gang culture or youth violence and those not in education, employment or training. Their involvement in arts leads to huge increases in self confidence and communication skills, greater social harmony, more people in education and a massive increase in trust and wellbeing.
