Mission Statement

Centre 404 is working towards a world where people with learning disabilities, autism and their families have the support they need to enjoy the same rights, freedom, responsibilities, choices and quality of life as people within the wider community.

About This Cause

Centre 404 is a prominent charity that offers friendly, reliable and person centred support to people with learning disabilities, autism and their families. We currently operate across 8 London Boroughs. It was founded in 1951 by carers of children with learning disabilities and continues to work towards building a society where people with learning disabilities are valued and involved. Over the years, Centre404 has built vital services that have enabled children and adults with a learning disability and their families to have a voice and access to activities and support. We provide the following services: a. LEARNING & LEISURE: clubs, activities, holiday play schemes for children and siblings, young people and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism [LD/A] and a Finding & Matching Service providing person centred support for adults who have a personal budget b. SUPPORTING FAMILIES: providing information, advice, workshops, social events and community engagements for family carers c. INDEPENDENT LIVING: providing supported living and outreach support for LD/A people who are living in our local community d. VOLUNTEERING: providing a wide variety of volunteering opportunities across all services.
