Mission Statement
We set out to tackle both food poverty and food waste by providing excellent quality, three course meals from surplus food, free of charge for homeless people as a standard. Our overall mission is to improve the health, well being and quality of lives of all vulnerable adults who access our service.
About This Cause
During the Covid 19 pandemic, we have still remained in operation providing a takeaway lunch service to ensure that the most vulnerable people in our community still have access to emergency food provisions. Refettorio Felix is an open door, drop-in Centre based in Earl's Court, our beautiful dining space and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere provides a sanctuary for homeless people and other vulnerable adults with varied and sometimes complex needs. We offer an excellent quality, three course lunch, created from surplus food as well as a shower service, laundry, clothes resource, informal counselling, specialised advice, links to various outreach services, a comprehensive activities programme and a complementary therapies programme. As well as alleviating poverty, we are also passionate about seeing that our guests are treated with dignity, compassion and understanding, our overall aim is to improve quality of life.
