Our Mission is to inspire and equip young people, irrespective of their background, to learn, develop and reach their full potential through enterprise and financial education.
About This Cause
Young Enterprise (YE) Scotland supports 16000+ young people across Scotland each year by developing their business knowledge, entrepreneurial skills & financial literacy. Our ‘learning by doing’ approach and accredited training programmes help young people to become more employable and job ready - no matter where they start their journey or what challenges they face along the way. In Scotland, businesses are currently faced with a skills gap which is exacerbated by the fact that one third of young people leaving school do not feel work ready, combined with the rising problem of persistent absence. Our aim is to bridge that gap by providing young people with real-life “learning by doing” opportunities supported by volunteers from the local business community. Together we can tackle the skills gap and support social mobility.
