Mission Statement
We aim to advance education and provide relief and assistance for the poorest of the poor in the Mulajje, Katikamu and Kikyuusa parishes of Luweero Uganda.
About This Cause
The main purpose of the charity is the advancement of education and the provision of relief and assistance for the members of the St. Kizito Schools and Community, mainly within the Mulajje parish but also the Katikamu and Kikyuusa parishes of Luweero and the children on Sr Agnes Norah Orphans and Vulnerable Child Support Project in Uganda. The charity is based in Scotland and provides monthly support for the projects highlighted: provision of school meals to the 20 schools supported, support of the local health centre with medical supplies and maintenance and fuel for the motor bike to enable the staff to reach more remote parts of the area, support for the elderly and vulnerable with monthly food and hygiene supplies, school fees are sent termly for those students being supported. Individual support is also provided for those identified most in need for medical supplies, wheelchairs, etc, as well as fundraising for specific projects such as school classrooms, provision of equipment for the health centre and other projects as the needs are identified.
