Mission Statement

My Name'5 Doddie Foundation was launched in November 2017 in response to the former Scotland and Lions rugby star, Doddie Weir, being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Its mission is to raise fund to aid research into the causes of MND and investigate potential cures, to support fellow sufferers of MND and raise awareness of this devastating disease.

About This Cause

Doddie and his fellow trustees are driven to help fellow sufferers and seek ways to further research into this incurable disease. Through fund raising efforts, the Foundation will invest in viable research projects and also help support individuals suffering from MND to help them live as fulfilled a life as possible.
