Mission Statement
FCS began back in the early 70's located in a room above a volunteer's garage. It has continued to grow to meet the needs of the community. FCS moved to Depot Street in the early 90's and recently completed the restoration of two historic 1800's houses which now are the offices of Freeport Community Services.
About This Cause
Freeport Community Services is a not-for-profit 501(c) 3 organization of professionals and volunteers committed to strengthening the local community by helping families achieve independence, established with the philosophy of neighbor helping neighbor. We help residents of Freeport and Pownal during short-term crises and times of need and may extend long-term support as resources allow.
