Mission Statement
Help us end elder loneliness. Our teen volunteers bring a sense of community into the lives of residents living in senior homes across the U.S. Since 2000, our teen volunteer chapters have provided conversation, companionship, and our signature program of complimentary beauty makeovers to senior home residents. During COVID-19, we preserved these critical interactions through safe and distanced programs.
About This Cause
The GlamourGals Program provides a sense of pride and community to our teen volunteer network. GlamourGals organizes and supports volunteer chapters in high school and college who provide companionship and our signature program of complimentary beauty makeovers to elderly residents in senior care. Our impact is two fold: Elderly residents in care feel a renewed sense of community and self-worth. Teen Volunteers gain essential leadership skills demonstrating empathy and compassion through our intergenerational programming.
