Mission Statement
The mission of Community Connections is to support Georgia’s children in foster care by providing comprehensive services and transformative partnerships with families and the larger community. Our vision is for children to thrive in safe and healthy family environments.
About This Cause
Community Connections was founded and established in March 2002 as a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation. As a licensed Child Placing Agency, Community Connections provides foster homes and supportive services for children who are in the temporary legal custody of the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) in Georgia. We are an advocate of family centered practice, expediency for children in reaching their permanency plans, and are committed to providing quality foster homes for the children we serve. We are committed to the national goals of safety, health, permanency, and well-being for children in the Georgia child welfare system.
