Mission Statement
The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to ending breast cancer through advocacy, education, and research.
About This Cause
The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and mobilize Floridians to: • Ensure sufficient government and public funding for breast cancer research • Ensure quality health care for all without fear of discrimination • Ensure an environment free of carcinogens Funded largely through grassroots donations and funds generated from the sale of the “End Breast Cancer” license plate, all monies raised remain in the state of Florida to support education and research programs for Florida residents. Monies raised enable FBCF to fund non-profit, community organizations that provide education programs to empower women and men to take control of their breast health, especially in low income, underserved, and/or uninsured populations. Monies raised for research are dedicated to funding groundbreaking research projects that will hopefully one day lead to a cure.
