Mission Statement

The mission of First Coast No More Homeless Pets is to make veterinary care affordable and accessible to all as we save lives by keeping dogs and cats in homes and out of shelters, provide low-cost spay/neuter services with emphasis on feral/community cats, and deliver a broad range of related programs and services.

About This Cause

Founded in 2002, First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) operates one of the largest spay/neuter facilities in the country and one of the largest safety-net teaching veterinary hospitals in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. FCNMHP is not a shelter, it makes shelters stronger. Yearly, First Coast No More Homeless Pets provides over $425,000 in charitable care to help ensure that no animal will be relinquished or euthanized due to an owner’s inability to afford care. FCNMHP provides services to over 74,000 dogs and cats, performs nearly 23,000 spay/neuter surgeries, distributes 120,000+ pounds of free pet food, offers professional and paraprofessional education opportunities, and serves rescue organizations throughout NE Florida and SE Georgia that work to prepare thousands of animals for adoption.
