Bright Path Center is a non-profit organization that directs at risk and homeless individuals on a successful path and inspires them to make a meaningful difference in the world through a variety of wellness and enhancement programs.

About This Cause

Originally dedicated to early learning and youth development initiatives for children from socio-economically challenged neighborhoods in Riverside CA, Bright Path Center expanded its mission to provide outreach, facilitate educational opportunities, and navigate Individuals and families toward transitional or permanent housing for those living in Los Angeles and Riverside. HOUSING: For many homeless individuals, the belief of a sense of home is hopeless and seems impossible after living on the streets or in shelters for years. Bright Path Center provides support and aid for homeless individuals and families looking to successfully transition from homelessness to independent living. Our housing services include Transitional and Permanent Supportive housing critical to assisting individuals and families in achieving housing stability. Our services provide assistance and support allowing individuals to regain economic self-sufficiency and independence. OUTREACH: Our outreach team is trained in high-quality support services to provide homeless or at risk of becoming homeless families and individuals in need with resources and aid. In an effort to help develop a foundation, our Outreach Program provide services to best meet the needs of the homeless and providing emergency food and clothing, crisis services, and Transitional and permanent housing. Our dedicated Team works diligently to provide the resources for the homeless to survive immediate crises and put them on the path to long-term stability. It is our goal to ensure that homeless individuals’ families and are given the help they need to succeed. Emergency Food Assistance Program: Bright Path’s Emergency Food Assistance Program is intended to serve as a safety net for those whose circumstances have left them at risk of hunger and food insecurity. Our goal is to provide individuals and households with the emergency and supplemental food they need, while working to address the root causes of poverty and hunger. Bright Path provides food assistance, including meals and grocery items, to individuals in need including individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This program is able to support the needs of the community with goods, and food products with the support from our partners such as Whole Foods, Los Angeles Food Bank, and Ralphs. Our Permanent Supportive Residential Housing Facilities have an onsite Food Pantry for residents. EDUCATION: Bright Path Center provides workshops and trainings to enhance the ongoing development towards a goal of independence, productivity, and self-determination. We are committed to providing a positive learning environment for clients to learn and apply the needed skills to maintain stability. It is our goal to support and empower our clients with the necessary life skills in order to live a healthy productive life. Support Groups: We host community organizations that offer support and resources to individuals with disabilities and their families. Additionally, we contract with and refer clients to support groups dedicated for mental health and wellness.
