Mission Statement
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester annually seeks donations and raises funds to support efforts to help those who are in need of mental health care, but who are unable to pay for such services.Each year, hundreds of children, adolescents, adults and seniors are cared for, due to the generosity of others. Your support helps to give those who suffer from mental health challenges, a running start in life!
About This Cause
Giving children, adolescents, adults and seniors the opportunity to access mental health services when needed, helps to aid in ones recovery and improves ones quality of life. Overall wellness is achieved from attaining both physical and mental well-being. When options are available for obtaining early intervention of mental healthcare services, the prospect for recovery becomes more attainable. Mental Illness is a disease, and it can be treated. MHCGM believes recovery is possible and works to improve the quality of life for others who become challenged with mental health issues. MHCGM also hosts several community events each year to support such efforts. For the last five years, The Center has hosted the only run/walk for mental health in the state of NH, which is held in June. The cause and the neon theme for mental wellness, has brought much attention and support for community mental health. The run/walk is open to the public, and sponsorships are also appreciated. Your donation would help others in the community to find solutions for overcoming their illness or opportunities for substantially improving their quality of life.
