RISE FOR BABY AND FAMILY

Keene, New Hampshire, 03431-3131 United States

Mission Statement

To support families with infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities through comprehensive therapeutic services that build upon the family’s strengths, to provide childcare for children of all abilities, and to be a resource and advocate for inclusion throughout the Monadnock Region.

About This Cause

Two programs make up Rise’s core services: family-centered early services and supports (FCESS) and an inclusive childcare program. Both are for children up to age three. FCESS supports families with infants and toddlers through comprehensive therapeutic services -- speech, occupational, and physical therapy, together with counseling and education programs. These services are designed for children from birth to age three who have a condition likely to result in a developmental delay, who are experiencing developmental delays, or who are at risk for developmental delays if supports and services are not provided. All early supports and services are at no cost to the family; with the parent’s permission, Rise will bill Medicaid and private insurance when possible. No family is denied services because of the cost. Typically, we serve 250 children each year in our FCESS program. Our childcare program serves up to 25 children and is now running at normal capacity. This safe, inclusive, and play-based program offers a wonderful opportunity for growth for babies and toddlers and their families.
