About This Cause
Manchester Community Health Center (MCHC) dba as Amoskeag Health is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) federally qualified health center offering high-quality, comprehensive, and family-oriented primary health care and support services since 1993. PLEASE NOTE*As of June 17, 2019, we have rebranded our organization. After careful consideration we have chosen the name of Amoskeag Health for our four locations on Hollis Street, Elm Street, McGregor Street and Tarrytown Road. Additionally, The Child Health Services building, located on Elm Street, will now bear the name of The Dr. Selma Deitch Center for Children & Teens to honor and recognize the amazing work of Dr. Selma Deitch and to identify the programs and services that she started and that will continue under our new brand to benefit the underserved children in the greater Manchester, NH area. Amoskeag Health strives to eliminate health disparities by offering primary health care and support services to nearly 16,000 children and adults with no insurance coverage, those with Medicaid insurances, and those who face a barrier to care because of language obstacles or lack of access to transportation.
